attention は真ん中の「ten」にアクセントを置きます。最初の「a」は力を抜いた曖昧な音（シュワー）で「ア」と短く発音します。続く「ten」は口を横に引きながら「テ」をはっきり出し、最後の「tion（ʃən）」は唇を少し前に突き出して「シュ」と息を吐きながら「ン」で終わります。「アテンション」と平坦なカタカナ読みにならないよう注意しましょう。
