発音のコツ

point の発音記号は /pɔɪnt/ です。二重母音の「ɔɪ(オイ)」が特徴で、口を縦に開けて「オ」と発音してから、滑らかに「イ」へと繋げます。最後の「nt」は、舌先を上の歯茎の裏につけて鼻から息を抜く「n」の直後に、軽く息を破裂させる「t」を添えます。日本語の「ポイント」のように「ト」に母音の「オ」が入らないよう注意しましょう。
